No. Speaking is one of three equal ways to take part. You can have an affirmation read to you, or simply mark it complete. The microphone is never required, and nothing in the app is locked behind it.
No. There is no accuracy score, no streak, and no measure of how convinced you sounded. Taking part is the whole point.
No. A Little True does not track streaks and does not treat a missed day as a failure. Your affirmations, history, and settings are unchanged.
The day's selection is deliberately stable, so you can return to it later without it changing under you. You can replace an affirmation for the day if it is not the right one.
Open the Library tab and tap the add button. Your own affirmations sit alongside the built-in ones and can be favorited, edited, or turned off.
That is the default. To protect what appears on your Home and Lock Screen, widgets use built-in wording unless you turn on "Show personal affirmations in widgets" in Settings.
Check that A Little True has both Microphone and Speech Recognition permission in iOS Settings → A Little True. Recognition runs on your device, so it also needs the on-device speech assets iOS downloads for your language.
On your device only. Settings has options to clear reflections, clear practice history, or delete all local data. Deleting the app removes everything. See the privacy policy for the full list of what is stored.
No. A Little True is free and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Yes. A Little True has no server and does not need a network connection.
